Construction Update

Since our last update, the contractor has placed concrete driveways throughout Phase 6A and completed removals along Phase 6B. Please note that seeding operations will take place between August 15th-September 15th.


Phase 6A (Elm Street):

  • Next week: The contractor will be on site to place topsoil throughout disturbed areas of the project. Once the topsoil is in place, Phase 6A will be substantially complete and open to traffic.


Phase 6B (Milwaukee and Grand Avenue):

  • Next Week: Underground utilities will be installed throughout next week. Sanitary Sewer will be the first underground utility to be installed throughout Phase 6B.

  • Week of 8/18: The contractor will continue installing underground utilities throughout Phase 6B including sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer facilities.


Phase 7A (Anna Way):

  • Next week: Concrete crews will be on site next week placing curb and gutter throughout Phase 7A. Once the concrete curb and gutter is in place, the paving crew will be on site to place asphalt surfacing.

  • Week of 8/18: Concrete crews will be on site placing concrete driveways throughout Anna Way.


Phase 7B (Anna Way)

  • Week of 8/25: The contractor is tentatively planning to begin removals throughout Phase 7B on August 25th.
