Construction Update

Since our last update, the contractor has started installing underground utilities throughout Phase 7B. Below is a summary of the work over the next couple of weeks.
Phase 6B (Milwaukee and Grand Avenue):
Next week: The contractor will be on site preparing the road for concrete curb and gutter. Once the curb and gutter is in place, the contractor will place concrete approaches throughout Phase 6B.
Week of 9/15: Concrete crews will be on site placing concrete approaches. When approaches are in place, asphalt surfacing will be placed throughout Phase 6B.
Phase 7A (Anna Way):
Next week: The contractor will be on site to place topsoil throughout disturbed areas of the project. Once the topsoil is in place, Phase 7A will be substantially complete and open to traffic.
Phase 7B (Anna Way)
Next week: The contractor will install storm sewer facilities throughout Phase 7B. The underground utilities are estimated to be complete by the middle of the week. Once all utilities are in place, the contractor will begin preparing the road for concrete curb and gutter.
Week of 9/15: Concrete crews will be on site placing curb and gutter throughout Anna Way. Once the curb and gutter is in place, the contractor will place concrete approaches.
