Hello All,
Starting Monday (08/05), Maple Street will close from Perry Lane west to the railroad tracks. The intersection of Grand Avenue and Maple Street will remain open for vehicles traveling north and south. Tiger Street will also open on Monday to allow vehicles to cross Perry Lane east and west.
Here is an update for the remainder of the project:
Phase 1 & 2:
The curb and gutter is complete from the south end of Perry Lane up to Maple Street, and the remaining curb and gutter will be completed this week.
Concrete paving is complete from the south end of Perry Lane up to Walnut Street, and the remaining concrete will be installed the week of August 5.
Asphalt paving is complete at Tiger Street and the remaining side streets will be paved the week of August 5.
Phase 3:
The project team will be onsite this week marking removals for Phase 3 and flagging trees for removal.
Saw cutting of driveways, sidewalks, and streets will begin next week. The removal limits will be marked with pink paint. The paint marks should have a line and an arrow pointing toward the street. The line indicates where the contractor will saw and remove the pavement. If there are any questions or concerns about the limits marked, please reach out to the project team.
If you have any questions regarding the project, please feel free to reach out to the project staff at (605) 338-6668 for more information. Thank you for your patience and accommodation during this project!
