Phase 1-3 Seeding

Hello Everyone,

Crews will be onsite today performing finish grading work and seeding operations along last year's project. Attached to this post is a Lawn Maintenance Guide to assist property owners with proper maintenance of newly seeded turf. Please note, In an effort to offset watering costs and to help germination of the seed, The City of Harrisburg Public Works team will apply water as best they can by means of a water truck throughout the germination period. Property Owners should still provide additional watering as necessary to keep the soil moist but not inundated. Once seedlings have reached 3-in tall, Property Owners should begin regular mowing to keep weeds down.
