Project Status

Hello All,

With the significant rain received throughout the City and surrounding area, the project site has become very saturated preventing the Contractor from progressing efficiently and creating impassable conditions along gravel roads. City crews and the Contractor are aware that Southeastern Avenue is in critically poor condition. Crews are actively working on-site to improve the condition of the road so it is passable. As an alternate route, the gravel roads south and east of Southeastern were reported as passable. Please use caution as you travel these roads as it appears more rain is forecast through the weekend. As drier conditions return next week, the contractor will resume their work and get back to making steady progress. Construction up to this point has been ahead of schedule. The Contractor still anticipates meeting the deadlines of their phasing plan. On behalf of the project team, we thank you for your patience.
