Project Status

Hi everyone,

Since our last update, the Contractor finished the underground installation along Maple Street and has begun installing sanitary sewer south of the project limits, along 274th Street. Below is a summary of work planned to occur throughout the next few weeks.

Phase 1 & 2 (Perry Ave)

• Week of 9/23: Crews are scheduled to place topsoil and restore yards.

• Note: The contractor will be closing Perry Lane on a block by block basis to complete restoration of the yards. Residents will still have access to their homes during the closures, but parking along the street will not be permitted.

• Residents in need of a landscaper to repair irrigation can contact Darrel Miles, with Groundwater Landscape and Irrigation, at 605-370-3772.

Phase 3 (Maple Street)

• Week of 9/23: Crews are scheduled to start preparing for street improvements along Maple Street. Sidewalks and remaining driveway pavements will be removed first. Once complete, the roadway will be undercut and excavated to allow gravel base to be installed.

  
  

Phase 8 (274th Street)

• Crews are installing sanitary sewer along 274th Street and Linden Ave.

• 274th Street is closed to through traffic between 476th Ave and Cliff Ave. The road is anticipated to reopen within a few weeks.
