Hi everyone,
Construction for 2024 will be wrapping up within the next few weeks. Here is a summary of the remaining work.
Phase 1-3 (Perry Lane and Maple Street):
This week: Crews will be onsite to complete any remaining concrete and landscaping work. Representatives from the City will perform a walkthrough and compile a list of items for the contractor to address before closing out these phases for 2024. Concrete crews will seal the joints along Maple Street this Thursday and Friday. The road will remain closed to traffic during this time. If you need to access your home, please allow the sealant to dry for at least 30-minutes before driving on it.
Reminder: Seeding has been postponed until Spring. If your yard has irrigation, it can now be repaired. If you have not yet hired a landscaper to repair your irrigation, you can contact Darrel Miles, with Groundwater Landscape and Irrigation, at 605-370-3772.
Note: The general contractor has sent out invoices to the property owners that entered into an agreement to replace the entirety of the driveway. We encourage residents to pay any outstanding amount as soon as possible, and to direct any questions to D&G Concrete, at 605-338-8597.
Next week: Crews will be onsite to address items compiled during the City walkthrough. Application of mulch on the black dirt is scheduled from Wednesday - Friday. On Maple Street, crews will remove temporary traffic signs, reinstall mailboxes and install permanent traffic signs. Please ensure that your mailbox can easily be accessed by the contractor.
